Welcome AISEIS 2027

The world is entering a new stage of intelligent sensing. Sensors are no longer only devices that collect signals; they are becoming the front line of artificial intelligence. Cameras, optical sensors, radar, acoustic sensors, wearable devices, biomedical sensors, environmental sensors, and industrial monitoring systems are increasingly expected to perceive, interpret, decide, and respond in real time.
This transformation is driven by two major trends. First, AI is moving closer to the physical world. Instead of sending all data to cloud servers, future systems will process information directly at the sensor, near the sensor, or at the edge. This enables faster response, lower latency, better privacy, reduced communication cost, and more reliable operation in complex environments. Second, sensing itself is becoming more intelligent. The combination of advanced sensors, imaging technologies, signal processing, embedded electronics, and learning algorithms is creating a new generation of systems that can understand dynamic, uncertain, and multimodal real-world conditions.
The Asia Symposium on AI-Driven Sensing and Edge Intelligent Systems (AISEIS) is established to provide a focused forum for this emerging direction. The symposium aims to bring together researchers and engineers from electronic engineering, sensor technology, optical and photonic sensing, embedded AI, edge computing, intelligent imaging, signal processing, robotics, AIoT, and cyber-physical systems.
AISEIS focuses on the full intelligent sensing chain: from sensing devices and electronic hardware, to edge AI models and computing architectures, to real-world intelligent systems. The conference encourages work that connects physical sensing with machine intelligence, especially research that can make future AI systems more efficient, trustworthy, deployable, and responsive to the real world.

About AISEIS 2027

The Asia Symposium on AI-Driven Sensing and Edge Intelligent Systems (AISEIS 2027) will be held on April 16-18, 2027 in Hangzhou, China.

The symposium features keynote and invited speeches, along with oral and poster presentations to facilitate academic exchange.

All submitted papers undergo rigorous peer review, and accepted papers will be published in the AISEIS conference proceedings and submitted for indexing in EI Compendex and Scopus.
